Webinar – Bothnia Green Energy & DC Solutions
10 Dec 09:00 - 10:30
Online
Direct current (DC) distribution has the potential to reduce losses, integrate renewable energy more efficiently and enable new smart-energy solutions for both buildings and industry. During the Bothnia Green Energy project, one focus area has been DC networks to explore technical, economic and regulatory conditions for implementing DC grids in real-life environments.
In this final webinar, we present the key findings from the pilot and discuss what the next steps could be for turning DC systems into practical, scalable solutions in the Kvarken region and beyond. AFRY will walk us through the outcomes of their feasibility study, followed by a panel discussion on financing instruments, opportunities, and future development paths. Energy companies and universities will share their perspectives on how DC solutions can move forward.
