Sekab is a Swedish chemical company producing fossil-free chemicals from bio-based ethanol. At our production site in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, we manufacture acetaldehyde, ethyl acetate and acetic acid for industrial customers. Our bio-based products offer the same chemical properties and performance as their fossil-based counterparts and can be used as drop-in solutions in existing processes. By combining bio-based raw materials with fossil-free production, we help our customers reduce fossil dependence and lower the carbon footprint of their value chains.
