Call for Proposals: Expansion 2026 – Swedish Innovations for Southeast Asia’s Sustainable Energy Future

The Business Accelerator Programme Southeast Asia (BAPSEA) supports Swedish SMEs with innovative energy and sustainability solutions in establishing a presence in Southeast Asia. The program provides guidance, market insights, and practical support to help companies enter one of the region’s fastest-growing markets.

Southeast Asia combines rapid economic growth with significant investments in the green transition, while facing major climate challenges. This creates a growing need for sustainable energy solutions.

About the Program

BAPSEA is an 18-month market entry program run by the Swedish Energy Agency in collaboration with Business Sweden. The program aims to reduce emissions and support sustainable development in the region, while strengthening Swedish exports, competitiveness, and jobs.

Participants receive strategic advice, market analysis, and hands-on support to ensure a successful market entry. Business Sweden’s experts provide tailored coaching and guidance aligned with each company’s goals.

During the program, companies take part in business meetings and networking with potential customers, partners, and decision-makers, as well as delegation trips to the region to showcase their solutions and build key contacts. Participants also join events such as Southeast Asian Energy Day in Stockholm and receive guidance for continued market establishment after the program ends.

Participating companies choose one target market in Southeast Asia to focus on:

  • Singapore

  • Indonesia

  • Philippines

  • Thailand

  • Vietnam
