Call for Proposals: Verification of Innovations with Customers
Are you a company looking to develop and verify your solution and bring it closer to the market? Apply for funding from the Swedish Energy Agency for projects with a business focus that contribute to a sustainable energy system.
The call aims to bring innovations closer to commercialization by further developing solutions and preparing them for a commercial phase or a larger pilot and demonstration project. Solutions can include, for example, product and service innovations that:

Contribute to the transition to a sustainable energy system by, for example, promoting energy efficiency, flexibility, availability of fossil-free energy, or robustness.

Demonstrate clear customer value and business potential.
To be eligible for funding, the solution must have a technology readiness level (TRL) of at least TRL 4 and at most TRL 7 at the start of the project.
What can you apply for funding for?
You can apply for funding for projects including:

Activities carried out together with customers to develop and verify the innovation. These activities should form the main part of the project.

Business development and innovation-supporting activities, such as the creation or development of a business plan, financing plan, or intellectual property strategy.

How much funding can we receive?
You can receive financial support of up to SEK 3 million per project. Co-financing of the project is required. Certain activities, such as business development efforts, can be funded up to 100 percent.
Who can apply?
Small and medium-sized enterprises can apply for support for projects where you verify and develop an innovation together with a customer. Maximum one application per applicant company.
