North Sweden Cleantech Recognised as a European Role Model
North Sweden Cleantech has been selected as one of seven Good Practices in Europe in Interreg Europe’s policy brief on clusters and platforms supporting industrial transformation. This recognition is a clear acknowledgment of the long-term efforts to strengthen the green transition in northern Sweden and demonstrates that the initiative is of top quality in a European context.
The policy brief highlights how clusters and collaborative platforms can drive industrial transformation, innovation, and regional competitiveness. North Sweden Cleantech is cited as a prime example of how cooperation between industry, the public sector, and academia can deliver tangible results over time.
This recognition is the result of more than ten years of dedicated work. Over this period, North Sweden Cleantech has evolved into an established platform that combines cluster development, business support, and international collaboration to accelerate innovation and commercialisation in the cleantech sector.
Being highlighted as a Good Practice is both a validation of the work accomplished and a milestone in the ongoing effort to position northern Sweden as a strong contributor to Europe’s green industrial transition.
