The High North Young Entrepreneur Contest – International Pitch Opportunity for Arctic Startups
The High North Young Entrepreneur Contest is an international pitch competition for young entrepreneurs and early-stage startups with business ideas connected to the Circumpolar North.
The contest highlights the economic potential of the Arctic and the specific conditions shaping the region. The final takes place as part of the annual High North Dialogue conference in Bodø, Norway, where selected finalists present their business ideas to Arctic experts, decision-makers, and international stakeholders.
The competition is open to companies and individual entrepreneurs from all countries and sectors. The company must be no more than three years old, and applicants must be 40 years of age or younger.
Applications should include key elements of a business plan, including:
- a marketing plan
- financial projections
- a brief explanation of the idea’s uniqueness, relevance, and feasibility
Finalists compete for financial support to further develop their business ideas. Travel and accommodation for the final in Bodø are covered by the organizer.
