Testhuset – Test Environment for Smart and Connected Solutions

At Umeå Energi's Testhuset, companies and organisations can test and develop digital and connected solutions that contribute to a sustainable society. The facility provides technology, data and expertise for exploring new ideas involving IoT, sensors and visualisation – in an environment that reflects the smart city.

esthuset is a physical and digital innovation environment where Umeå Energi provides a complete platform for testing and demonstrating smart technology solutions. Companies can experiment with sensors, data collection, analysis, visualisation and data sharing. The aim is to make it easy to move from idea to testing – whether in energy, buildings, transport or the environment.

Testhuset is particularly relevant to companies developing products and services in digitalisation, connected systems and sustainable urban development. This could involve testing new sensors for energy measurement, developing prototypes for data flows or evaluating user interfaces for real-time data.

As a partner, you gain access to an innovation manager and support throughout the entire process – from an initial idea workshop to testing and evaluation.

By bringing together stakeholders around digital solutions, Testhuset contributes to the green and digital transition in Umeå and northern Sweden.
