Great interest in developers of environmental fuels

The Skellefteå-based company Eco-Oil Miljöbränslen i Sverige AB has stopped working in silence. The company develops environmental fuels and in an interview Kent van Klint, CEO of Eco-Oil tells about the recent increased interest in the company.

Earlier this year, Eco-Oil was contacted by Svenska Dagbladet as part of SvD's coverage of sustainable solutions in Sweden and the Nordic region. Since Eco-Oil develops copies of fossil fuels that are 100% fossil-free, both gasoline and diesel substitutes, their products work in ordinary engines and were therefore highly relevant for SvD's reporting series.

In an extensive and in-depth reportage, the reporter and photographer was accompanied by Kent and Professor Jyri-Pekka Mikkola for a whole day. The result was a well-written reportage that came with positive consequences.

“Big stakeholders have come to life,” notes a happy Kent van Klint.

As a result of the increased visibility, Kent sees an increase in interest from various stakeholders and Eco-Oil has gained a significant boost as several of the company's old contacts have reconnected. There is a renewed interest in both investors and contacts due to the increased visibility in the media as it seems to have given greater weight to the company Eco-Oil and its vision.

The demand for renewable resources is high and Eco-Oil has been contacted by several investors. However, many investors are cautious about going in with larger sums and one difficulty is to find the right investor who is willing to invest long term.

Eco-Oil has maintained a low profile for a long time as they have repeatedly been exposed to espionage and sabotage. Today Kent is happy to be out in the spotlight and looks optimistic about the future.
